I’m Jessica Frey (pronounced "Fry," not "Fray") and when someone asks what I do for a living, it’s easy to say, “professional photographer.” But truth be told, that doesn’t quite encompass the results I get for my clients. Really, I should say, “I’m a joy creator.”
And I’ve been creating and capturing joy for couples both locally (in the Texas Hill Country) and internationally for the past 14 years. You see, I’m not just a professional who is willing to go above and beyond to create beautifully timeless photos of your wedding, but I also like to think that I’m a human bundle of sparkles, joy, and a whole lotta fun. Weddings should be a joyful experience that continues to spark joy when you look back on your photos. I believe there is so much emotion attached to images that you should be able to feel that love and excitement every time you see your wedding photos.

Okay, I’ll be honest. When you first meet me, I’ll probably hug you. But in addition to a hug, you’re likely to find yourself wrapped up in my contagious enthusiasm. People like to call me sweet and spunky, and they might be right. As an Enneagram 7, I am optimistic, people-oriented, and always ready for an adventure.
On your wedding day, it’s important that you feel comfortable so that you look happy and at ease in images (even on such a stressful day!), and I promise to use my personality not only to create that much-needed relaxed atmosphere but to help truly relieve your stress as well.

After earning my business degree from Texas A&M University (whoop!), I established Jessica Frey Photography in 2008. Since becoming a full-time professional, international photographer, my couples have been featured in numerous publications and I have been honored to have earned TheKnot’s Best of Weddings award multiple times, and even been inducted into TheKnot Hall of Fame.

After 14 years of photographing weddings throughout the US and across the globe, I know how to photograph anyone, anywhere. My extensive training has taught me how to achieve a consistent, timeless look regardless of your venue’s location - whether it is a well-lit vineyard in Napa Valley, a snow-filled castle in Bavaria, a sun drenched beach in Hawaii or a dark, candle-lit space in a historic hotel.
By limiting myself to only 15 weddings a year, I am able to increase my focus on serving you and your loved ones with the best experience possible. My goal is to deliver a treasured, joyful experience AND the stunning and timeless images you want without additional stress.
